Just as I’m preparing to fly out and receive the American Society of Criminology’s Hindelang Book Award for FESTER, I stumble across the book page for Behind Ancient Bars on UC Press! Behind Ancient Bars is also available to preorder from Amazon. No Kindle version yet, though that’s sure to follow. The book officially comes out on May 12, 2025.
